چکیده
The Caatinga biome is one of the largest areas South American seasonally dry tropical forest that has been severely affected by unsustainable natural resource use. Furthermore, identified as an ecologically sensitive region particularly susceptible to climate changes. One most economically important native palm tree for traditional communities from semi-arid carnauba palm, Copernicia prunifera, which offers diverse resources, yet its populations suffer intense exploitation. To inform conservation and population management strategies, we sought determine if remaining this species in intensively exploited area Northeast Brazil displayed evidence negative genetic impacts because exploitation how might interact with expected environmental Mantel’s test revealed a positive significant correlation between geographic distances, suggesting are structured isolation distance, while also experiencing barriers through Monmonier's algorithm. studied showed bottlenecks, future scenarios suggest potentially suitable habitats C. prunifera within range will be reduced. Significant differentiation among resulted three distinct groups consistent ecological niche modelling. In addition need situ minimize loss alleles, creation germplasm banks ex strategies developing planted productive forests urgently required maintain ensure sustainability resources communities.

Brucellosis: An Economically Important Infection
Brucellosis is one of the world’s major zoonosis, caused by bacteria of the genus Brucella. The world’s most widespread zoonosis affects cattle, sheep, goats, pigs, and other animals, leading to abortion, infertility, and low milk yields. Humans acquire brucellosis from direct contact with livestock or from drinking unpasteurized milk. Brucella spp. are considered as the most common laboratory-...

15 صفحه اولAssessing Genetic Diversity of Shishi Date Palm Cultivars in Saudi Arabia and Qatar Using Microsatellite Markers
In this study fourteen microsatellite primer pairs were used to study the genetic diversity of Shishi Date palm in Qatar. A total of 32 date palm (15 Shishi cultivar, 10 Khalas and seven male date palms) were collected from Qatar and 5 Shihi cultivars were collected from Saudi Arabia for comparison. The Shishi set collected from Qatar was selected from different regions to represent the gene...

Larvae of many species of Sesiidae, the clearwing moths, are important pests in commercial nurseries, urban landscapes, timber stands, vineyards, and orchards. They cause economic loss by larval boring in stems and roots of herbaceous and woody plants. Researchers and growers often monitor for the presence of economically important sesiid adults with pheromone traps. These traps often attract m...
